Media Services: Event Support

Carroll University Faculty, Staff, and Student Organizations

What is this?

Media Services can provide AV equipment and support for campus events. 

Examples of common requests include:

  • Delivering a laptop cart with projector/laptop/speakers/screen to a location on campus that does not have a built in system
  • Startup and monitoring of AV sytem in a location that currently has equipment installed
  • Setup of wired and wireless microphones in locations featuring a sound system
  • Assistance providing playback of audio at events
When should I use?

If you have an event occuring in a space where there is not existing AV equipment and equipment needs to be set up, or if you will be hosting an event in a space with technology and would like an AV Tech to assist with the existing technology during the event. 

When should I not use this?

If you do not need AV equipment set up by a technician or are comfortable with using the technology the space the event will be occuring without a technician to assist.
